Dr. Leon Moore

General Secretary of Evangelism and Missions for the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church

Rev. Dr. Leon C. Moore Jr., a Michigan native from Highland Park, currently serves as General Secretary of Evangelism and Missions for the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church and Pastor of Anderson Chapel CME in Holly Springs, MS. Throughout his ministry, he has led numerous congregations across Texas, Georgia, and Mississippi, while also serving as Presiding Elder in both West Texas and North Georgia Annual Conferences. With degrees from Texas College, Tyndale College, Phillips School of Theology, and United Theological Seminary, Dr. Moore has worked as a hospital chaplain, adjunct professor, and founded New Life Faith Ministries to support elderly and children in oppressed communities.

Dr. Leon C. Moore Jr. is a dedicated religious leader and educator with extensive experience in ministry, education, and community service. A native of Highland Park, Michigan, Dr. Moore has built a distinguished career serving communities across the United States while maintaining his commitment to faith, education, and social welfare.

Beyond his pastoral duties, Dr. Moore has served in healthcare, education, and governance roles:

  • Chaplain at University Medical Center, Lubbock, Texas
  • Chaplain at John Peter Smith Hospital, Fort Worth, Texas
  • Adjunct Professor at Ohio Christian University, Morrow, Georgia campus

Dr. Moore contributes his expertise through board service with several prestigious organizations:

  • Phillips School of Theology
  • Breeding Montgomery Bible College (Nigeria)
  • World Methodist Evangelism
  • Sabri Capital

As founder and President of New Life Faith Ministries, Dr. Moore leads a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of elderly individuals and children in underserved communities.

Dr. Moore is married to Tiffany (née Reed) Moore. Together they have five children: Jeffery, Alexus, Ashton, La Quethia, and Asia, and three grandsons: Kennedy Jr., Ismail, and Julius. In his leisure time, Dr. Moore enjoys sports, reading, and continuous learning.
